Is PiMerchants an official Pi Network website?
No. PiMerchants is an independent community initiative created to support the GCV movement and the Pioneer community. It is not an official Pi Network website.
What is GCV?
GCV (Global Consensus Value) is a community ideology aimed at making Pi an accepted and useful medium of exchange.
Is registration mandatory here?
No. Only individuals who wish to create a merchant or customer profile need to register.
How can a Merchant register?
A merchant profile can be created by filling out the registration form available on the website and providing accurate and complete information.
Can the information provided in the profile be changed?
Yes. Users can log in to their account and modify their information at any time.
Can a user delete their account?
Currently, there is no option to delete the account by oneself. If a user wants to delete their account, they can contact the PiMerchants team. The account deletion process will be completed after verification.
Is it mandatory to provide the same email and mobile number as given in Pi Network during registration?
No. Users can provide any active and valid email and mobile number according to their convenience.
Is it safe to log in with Pi? Will it affect the Pi Network account?
Yes, logging in with Pi is safe. It happens through Pi Network's official authentication system. This does not affect your account, wallet balance, or mining.
Is it safe to provide Pi wallet address and is it mandatory?
Providing a Pi wallet address is generally safe. It is not mandatory. Adding it can enable the Pi Scanner-based payment feature.
Does PiMerchants ever ask for Passphrase or Secret Key?
No. PiMerchants never asks for your 24-word Passphrase, Secret Key, or Recovery Phrase.
What to do if someone asks for Passphrase?
Do not share your Passphrase or Secret Key under any circumstances. It is the private key to your digital assets.
Does PiMerchants control my wallet or funds?
No. PiMerchants is only a directory platform. It does not control any user's wallet or funds.
Does PiMerchants charge any fees?
Currently, this platform is functioning as a community collaboration. Future policies will be announced in due course.
Does PiMerchants involve in any transactions?
No. All transactions happen directly between the merchant and the customer.
What are GCV Heroes?
GCV Heroes are Pioneers who are actively contributing to education and community empowerment.
Is GCV Heroes a competition?
No. This is not for any kind of comparison or ranking, but to give honor and recognition to dedicated contributors so that future generations can remember their efforts, dedication, and leadership and be inspired by them.
Is the Like button a vote?
No. It only represents appreciation and inspiration.
Will action be taken for providing wrong information?
Yes. Profiles found to contain incorrect or misleading information can be removed.
Is this platform for all of India?
Yes. Pioneers from all states of India can join it.
Will new features be added in the future?
Yes. New features will be added from time to time according to the community's needs.
